Sassaba's Story

Sassaba is a sweet boy who is extremely intelligent and loves to take in everything around him. Amongst any group of people or dogs, you'll often find him sitting down and watching everyone play before he decides to join in and investigate. He is a gentle boy who loves his ears and head rubbed. Sassaba has almost mastered "sit" and understands that "come on" means it's time to head outside. He's still working on perfecting his potty training and is comfortable being crated for 2-3 hour periods during the day and overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. He may bark at the initial sight of other dogs or cats but generally behaves well around them. Extremely food motivated and wonderfully patient, Sassaba waits politely for snacks, leashes, and cues. While he picks and chooses when he wants to curl up in your lap, he truly enjoys being held and close to his people.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
