"Sasha" the husky mix's Story

Sasha is a senior husky mix with a heart of gold. She came in as a stray to animal control, and we found out that she was heartworm positive. When working her up medically, we found that her platelet count was low also. Kerrville Pets Alive pulled her from animal control and placed her in a wonderful foster home. She has been treated for heartworms and she is medically sound. She has several canine buddies at the foster's farm, and enjoys outings and is very people friendly. She is medium to low energy and would be a wonderful dog for a couple looking for companionship!
