Sasha's Story
Note: Dogs are pack animals and do not do well away from other members of their pack. The adopter is the alpha member of the pack, and the dog or puppy needs as much one-on-one contact with the alpha as possible. For this reason, all Route 66 Rescue Inc. dogs are adopted to inside homes only. They must be on leash, or inside a secure fence when outside, and not left outside alone when no one is home. Invisible fencing does not qualify as protection since other animals and strangers have access to the dog. The dogs must be returned to Route 66 Rescue, Inc. if ever given up by the adopter. Thank you for understanding we want only the best for the dogs you give a forever home.

We aren't sure what breed Sasha is, but we're guessing husky/shepherd. She's a slim build so probably weighs around 45-50 lbs.

She is very gentle, but needs a secure yard. She will dig under a fence, so she shouldn't be left outside for long periods without supervision. She is housebroken.

Sasha loves other dogs. We're not sure about children since there are none in the foster home. She chases cats when they run but has never hurt them. She is not good with birds and chickens.

For more information or to request an adoption application for Sasha, please email route66rescue@yahoo.com . Thank you for visiting our site.
