Sasha's Story
Meet Sasha!

Sasha is a beautiful German Shepherd estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs approximately 55 lbs. She’s the total package — house trained, crate trained, and ready to settle right into a home of her own.

If there’s one thing Sasha loves, it’s fetch. Seriously — she could play for hours. She thrives on activity and would be happiest in an active home with a yard, where she has space to run, play, and burn off her energy. Because she’s used to having outdoor space, an apartment or condo setting would not be the right fit for her.

Sasha would be a great match for a family with older kids who want a dog that will truly engage, play, and be part of the action. She hasn’t been around young children, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids is recommended.

She does best with dogs who respect personal space and boundaries. Sasha isn’t a fan of small dogs that get in her face, so a home without small dogs is recommended. She could live happily as an only dog or with another dog similar in size who understands doggy manners.

Due to the prey drive common in German Shepherds, a home without cats is recommended.

Loyal, playful, and full of life, Sasha is looking for a family who will include her in their adventures and give her the love, structure, and activity she needs to thrive. She’s ready to be someone’s best friend — could that be you?

Sasha is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to many locations across the country. Transport fee is included in her adoption fee.

To apply for Sasha: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DSTR/Dog
