She is a lovely little girl and very affectionate when she feels safe and secure. It’s evident she experienced a loving home at some time in her past as she likes being part of the family. She gets along well with other dogs. However, she is a little sensitive about how she is picked up, indicating she may have suffered some abuse in her recent past. She likes curling up in her own little bed or on the couch with you. She also likes being brushed and groom. She has 3 eye medications currently for dry eye which is common with this breed, Pigmentary Keratitis (left eye only), Nuclear sclerosis and Mild Asteroid Hyalosis which is due to aging changes to the right eye only. She is very good about allowing us to administer the eye drops. <br/><br/>Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions. We will need to limit the number of people in the store. If there are more people than can be accommodated inside, we will form a line outside.
