Sasha's Story

Hello friends, my name is Sasha! I'm a spayed female, 2-year-old, pit bull mix that weighs about 52lbs. I am an absolute love bug! I'm a playful and happy girl that's ready to take on the world! I love making new human and dog friends! I also enjoy romping in the yard and playing fetch. I'm super good at Yoga; when I'm not playing, I'm laying and sitting in cool yoga poses! Lotus position and cow pose are some I've perfected. I've been working on some skills in a shelter training class. So far I'm doing fantastic with 'place,' 'leave it,' 'stay,' and 'touch.' I love learning, and I can't wait to continue my training with my adopters! I would like to go home with a family who are ready for adventure! I would love to meet the whole family including any resident dogs before I head to my new home. For more information, just ask about Sasha ID#A952966
I recently spent time with one of my PHS Volunteer friends! Here's how I did:
Sasha is probably one of the most energetic and athletic dogs I’ve ever met. She can be difficult to gear because she is just soooo excited to go out. She is good with all kinds of toys and will play, play, play. She has gotten much, much better on leash. She absolutely LOVES to sniff around so scent work could be good for her. She can still be jumpy at times but overall, I have an easy time walking her once we get going. She has a very good sit. Most importantly, she is as sweet as can be. Sasha likes to stay busy and would likely do well with some sort of 'job'. Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
