Meet Sasha, an itty-bitty 7-pound toy poodle with the sweetest little spirit and so much love to give. At 10 years old, she still has plenty of pep, charm, and lap-loving devotion to share with her forever person. Sashas favorite place in the world is right beside you—or better yet, curled up on your lap. She also loves perching at the top of the sofa, keeping watch over the household like the tiny queen she is.<br/><br/>When Sasha first arrived, she was understandably scared and unsure. She had some separation anxiety and would bark when left alone, but with patience, reassurance, and love, she has blossomed beautifully and now knows she is safe and cared for. She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, though she may gently let them know when she would prefer to keep her favorite humans lap all to herself!<br/><br/>Sasha did not receive the care she deserved before coming to rescue, but she is getting the fresh start she needs now. She has been spayed, had her teeth cleaned, and had a small mammary tumor removed and biopsied; thankfully, it was benign. Because of her past, Sasha can still be a little submissive and may occasionally have a small accident when she is nervous.
