Sasha's Story
Sasha is a stunning 2.5 year old mixed breed weighing 54 pounds, with a curious nose, bright mind, and plenty of personality to match her beautiful looks. Also, her adoption fee has been waived!

Sasha is active, intelligent, and thrives when she has an outlet for both her body and her brain. She loves sniffing for treats and would be an all-star with puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, and enrichment games that let her problem-solve and stay engaged. While toys don’t hold her attention long, food-based enrichment is definitely her jam.

Sasha can get excited and overwhelmed in busy or chaotic environments, especially when there’s a lot going on at once. She does best with calm, confident guidance and clear boundaries. Because of her enthusiasm and size, a home with kids 8 and up is recommended so everyone stays safe and comfortable.

She would do best in a home without cats or small animals, and if you have another dog, we recommend a meet-and greet to ensure a good match. Sash tends to do better with dogs who can handle her energy and direct play style.
Sasha is currently on medication to help manage her shelter-related stress and anxiety. Her future family should understand that transitioning out of the shelter takes time, and following the 3-3-3 rule will be key to her success. With patience, routine, and a stable environment, she has shown that she can settle, relax, and truly shine.

She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and excited to find her forever home. Feel free to call us at (208) 634-3647 if you have questions or visit the shelter to meet her.
