Sarge-Adopted!'s Story
Sarge is a 4 year old yellow male. Sarge is a friendly mostly mellow guy. He likes to play fetch and gets along well with other dogs. He walks well on leash, and loves to ride in the car. I haven't seen any type of aggression with him. Sarge follows us everywhere, he loves to be with people more than anything. I think he has a little bit of separation anxiety. He is house broken, he hasn't had any accidents in the house since I've had him. He doesn't care for the crate, although with some work he will get in and settle down for the night without barking or whining. He still has alot of puppy in him, he loves to chew, so you have to be careful what you leave laying around. I have had Sarge for 2 weeks and I am able to leave him loose in the house when we're not at home. I haven't narrowed down a time frame with him yet but he can only be trusted to be left loose in the house for a few hours, otherwise he either gets bored or has some anxiety and ends up chewing something he shouldn't. He does respond well with verbal discipline and knows when hes done something he shouldn't have. Sarge doesn't jump or get on any of the furniture on his own. He is a great cuddler for a nap and loves to give kisses. He is a smart boy and just needs some tuning up. Sarge would do well with a family that has children or doesn't have children. Not sure about cats, I don't have any. He will be a great dog for a semi active family who will make him part of all their activities<br/> to adopt Sarge go to www.savealabrescue.org
