Say hello to Sarge! This sweet boy will melt your heart. <br/><br/>Sarge is around 6 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. At night he likes to sleep on a dog bed or next to his person in bed. Sarge is a distinguished gentlemen who does not need to be crated when left alone, he knows how to mind his manners. He is practicing his leash skills.<br/><br/>Sarge is good with people and other dogs. He does great with kids, and good with cats. Sarge loves to play ball and will bounce and bark when he is ready for a game. His enthusiasm in contagious, you’ll want to play with him for hours! Sarge is a quiet dog for the most part, only barking when he gets excited over fetching. Delighted wiggles are his thing when it is time for dinner. <br/><br/>Sarge had a very rough life prior to being rescued. His skin was severely irritated, and he was missing lots of hair. He has a gorgeous coat now, but he does still have some patches where his hair will not grow back. <br/>Sarge is so adaptable, we feel he would do great in any home situation. Sarge has been in several foster homes and has fit well a variety of situations. One foster said he is the happiest dog she has ever met!
