He is very sweet, smart, treat-motivated, walks well on leash, and house-trained. He is respectful meeting other dogs but not a dog park type. Although very interested in cats and other small animals, he is likely not compatible living with them. He has a medium energy but is extremely active and needs something to focus on throughout each day. He loves playing ball, traveling and exploring new places, and lots of outdoor time and activities. Sarge is working through separation anxiety with a departing routine and needs the same willingness to work it through in his forever home. He needs a pack leader with GSD experience and commitment to training, discipline, socialization, boundaries, and physical/mental challenges.
