Hi there! My name is Sarge and I'm ready to join a fun-loving family as their newest member. <br/><br/>I'm a sweet and happy guy, as you can tell from my smiling face in my pictures! I love to play, spend time with my people, going on walks socialize with new friends, and wrestle with my foster GSD siblings. I get along with both big dogs and small dogs, but I can play a bit rough, so it's important to keep an eye on me if I'm playing with small dogs. I have no problem being around kids too- the more friends, the merrier! <br/><br/>At 4 years old, I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I'll go in the crate if I absolutely have to, but I don't particularly love it as that usually means my people are leaving! Even then, I'll settle down quietly and sleep until you come back. I can be trusted to free roam in the house as I'm not the type to chew on random things- I much prefer to chew on toys and treats. <br/><br/>Speaking of treats, I'll do just about anything for a good snack! I know how to sit, shake, and go to my bed or crate. I also have pretty good recall- one shout of my name and I'll come running! If I'm not already near you, you can find me hanging out somewhere cozy, as I'm perfectly fine being on my own and entertaining myself with a chew or a toy. <br/><br/>I'm a confident, low to medium-energy dog that loves to meet new people, especially since that means I'll be getting a belly rub (right?). If you're in need of a loving and playful companion for your family, look no further! As long as there's air conditioning and treats- I'm your guy.
