This is a litter of super pups who are ready to save the day—just like Dog Man!

This litter is named after the Dog Man books, and are the pups to sweet Kia Momma (picture included)! These pups were born on 1/30/25 while in foster care and are all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Sarah Hatoff Kia is currently 6 weeks old, and weighs about 10 pounds (as of 3/12/25). Their momma weighs 40 pounds fully grown and is a Husky mix.

Her foster shares: "Sarah Hatoff is the smallest of the litter - but not by much!
She's catching up to her siblings. What she lacks in weight, she more than makes up for with her spunky personality. She can always be found at the center of all the action. A favorite pastime is chasing her brother. She is a 'mini-me' of her mama with one blue eye and one black eye. She has the most unique and striking features. Sarah is very smart and catches on quickly to what is expected, like being calm for attention, food and treats. Like most puppies, she is very treat-motivated. She is learning to do her potty business in the correct part of their pen area, and she has early recall with a generic “puppy” song that is sung before each meal. Sarah would thrive in a home with people whom more often than not, who are dedicated to ongoing positive training, and who fully appreciate the commitment needed to raise a balanced puppy. She would probably benefit from a calm, older dog to reach her how to be her best self. Let’s set this girl up for success and find her a home in which she can reach her full super hero potential!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
