Sarah's Story
Where oh where are Sarah’s people? Please share this post so we can find her forever family!

Sarah arrived with puppies in October 2024 and is now ready to find her forever home. She’s an affectionate ~11-year-old American Bulldog × Boxer mix, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and about 55 lbs.

Sarah spent much of her life outside in Saginaw and, understandably, prefers to be the only pet in the house. After having many litters, other dogs (and cats) make her nervous — in her golden years she wants all the love for herself! She absolutely adores people of all ages: approach her and her little tail will wag non-stop. She’s super cuddly, loves company, and is happiest close to her humans.

Sarah enjoys being outdoors in the sun and is great on car rides, but busy pet-friendly places (dog parks, pet stores, etc.) are not for her. She’s a smart, confident girl who knows what she wants — and she even made a wishlist for her next family:

Sarah’s Wishlist

A fenced yard where she can safely soak up the sun

A sunny spot inside for nap time on cooler days

No other pets — she wants to be your one and only

Owners who can handle a larger girl (her recall is good!)

A super comfy couch (daily snuggles required)

Someone to binge-watch Netflix/Hulu with (she’s in)

Plenty of tasty snacks and frequent hugs (hourly, maybe more!)

A little doggy nose art on your car windows (optional but encouraged)

Sarah is an easy girl to love — loyal, affectionate, and ready to spend her senior years as someone’s companion.

Remember those puppy points:
- All current/recent pets in the home must be spayed/neutered
- All current/recent pets in the home must be UTD on vaccinations, test annually for HW and in HW Preventive regularly
- Adoption cost includes first round of vaccinations, rabies (if of age), spay/neuter and microchip

Please contact us at 989.948.1096 Or Go to midlandcountypitstop.org
Go to applications and click on “I want to adopt”

Sarah’s Wishlist
A fenced yard where she can safely soak up the sun
A sunny spot inside for nap time on cooler days
No other pets — she wants to be your one and only
Owners who can handle a larger girl (her recall is good!)
A super comfy couch (daily snuggles required)
Someone to binge-watch Netflix/Hulu with (she’s in)
Plenty of tasty snacks and frequent hugs (hourly, maybe more!)
