Sarah's Story

Meet Sarah

Some dogs arrive in rescue with a story written in quiet strength, and Sarah is one of them.

Sarah was found abandoned at the end of a road with her one-year-old daughter and a brand new litter of six puppies. She was incredibly thin, having given every ounce of herself to make sure her babies survived. Despite everything she had been through, Sarah never lost her gentle heart.

Once she entered rescue, she finally got the care she deserved. With good food, a warm place to sleep, and people who loved her, Sarah blossomed into the wonderful dog she was always meant to be.

Sarah is a calm, low-energy girl who enjoys the simple things in life. She loves being near her people and will happily curl up in the cozy bed we placed beneath our desk while we work on the computer, just quietly keeping you company. She's incredibly patient and gentle, even spending time playing with older foster puppies that come through the home.

She's house trained, crate trained, and very easygoing. Sarah gets along well with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends around. She's affectionate and loves attention, though she's more of a "sit beside you" companion than a constant snuggler. Her calm presence makes her the perfect steady friend after a long day.

Sarah would do wonderfully with a single person looking for a loyal companion, but she would also thrive in a home with another friendly dog.

After raising so many babies and caring for everyone else, it's finally Sarah's turn to be the one who is loved, cherished, and safe forever.
