Sara is a 1-year-old, 28-pound black Lab mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of sweetness. Her story began on June 23, when a resident reported a small dog hiding under their car for several days with no food or water. When Animal Welfare officers arrived, they found Sara—scared, exhausted, and desperately in need of help. <br/><br/>Despite what she endured, Sara has shown nothing but gratitude and affection. She’s a wonderfully sweet, friendly girl who loves people and warms up quickly. Her small Lab-mix frame and loving personality make her an easy companion for just about any home.<br/><br/>Sara is ready for a fresh start, a soft bed, and a family who will cherish her the way she deserves.
