Meet Sara Bellum <br/><br/>She is a sweet soul and devoted mama of the Power Puffs litter who is just beginning to learn how good love can be.<br/><br/>Sara Bellum is a gentle, affectionate mama dog who is still finding her footing in the world. She is potty trained, crate trained, and house trained, and truly shines once she feels safe. She enjoys leisurely walks, playtime with her stuffed animals, and cozy movie nights as those quiet moments are her favorite. Sara prefers to come to you on her own terms as she continues learning to trust and be loved, and her confidence grows a little more every day. She is also still working on gaining some healthy weight and doing well with continued care.<br/><br/>Sara Bellum was rescued from the shelter the beginning of October very pregnant, alongside her sister who was also expecting. Just two days after being pulled from the shelter, Sara gave birth. At the time, she weighed under 16 pounds while fully pregnant, a testament to just how much she had been through. We believe she is a Schnauzer–Chihuahua mix and estimate she is around a year and a half old.<br/><br/>She was placed with an incredible foster family who provided the safety, patience, and love she desperately needed. Under their care, Sara Bellum blossomed into a devoted, attentive mama and did an amazing job raising her babies. Thanks to her strength and resilience, her pups are now starting to head off to their forever homes.<br/><br/>Now, it’s Sara Bellum’s turn.<br/><br/>Her ideal adopter will understand that she is still processing whatever trauma she may have experienced in her past and will give her the time and space she needs to continue building trust. With patience, consistency, and kindness, Sara Bellum will reward her person with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and a deeply loyal heart.<br/><br/>She has given everything she had to her babies. Now she’s ready to find a home where she can finally receive all the love she deserves.
