Sapphire is a smart, active, and loving girl who's ready to find her forever home! She's house trained, crate trained, and great with other dogs. She's also good with kids and knows her basic commands--she's got "sit" down perfectly!<br/><br/>Sapphire rides well in the car and is making great progress on her leash skills. She'll thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. She loves being outside--but she really wants to be with you while she's out there. Left alone in the yard, she may try to dig, jump, or find a way to escape to come find her people.<br/><br/>While Sapphire doesn't love her crate at first and may whine a bit, she settles down and relaxes before long. She's a gentle communicator--when she needs to go outside, she'll quietly sit by the door instead of barking.<br/><br/>Sapphire is currently in foster care, where she's showing what a bright, loyal companion she can be.
