Santi's Story

Welcome Santi to RRR! This little cutie was dumped in a NJ Shelter and we had to get her out! She's about 2 years old and so playful. A little timid at first, but warms up quickly. Her quirk? She will roll all over you and love on you if you'll sit on the floor with her... Just don't pick her up. She is safe in a loving foster home and we are getting to know her better.

Santi is well on her way to being housebroken as long as she is on a schedule - but still has occasional accidents in her foster home. She is very well behaved on leash and does not pull whatsoever! She is not being crated in her foster home, but will sleep peacefully through the night in bed.

At playtime, Santi enjoys throwing her stuffed toys around and will entertain herself! When making new acquaintances, Santi will bark for 2 seconds at new people coming into the home, goes over to them and sniffs them, and then ends up in their laps within minutes. She also barks when she's in a room and hears outside noise but can be quieted easily.

Overall, Santi is a love bug. She loves to be snuggled up against her foster family, and will lie in their laps and follow them around the house. She is as sweet as can be and very easy going. She came right into her foster's home after a few weeks at the Trenton shelter and started playing with their resident dogs, wagging her tail, enjoying treats and settling in as if she's been there forever. She has zero food aggression and is easily corrected when barking. She doesn't require a ton of activity and is happy to settle into a lap for some downtime or just follow her foster sibling dogs around. She is just a happy little girl who will make an amazing pet for a lucky person/family.

Santi is spayed, and is in the process of getting UTD on her vaccinations while in foster. Will this scruffy but sweet girl be the right fit for you to open your heart and your home?

APPLY TO ADOPT NOW!!

https://rosemariesrescueranch.com/dog-adoption/

In the Consideration section, under 'Application Notes', please tell us about yourself to help us get a feel for you and your family, and as a fit for the pet you are interested in.
