She then spent 3 months confined to a crate in an overcrowded shelter while her case went to court.<br/><br/>Because of her history, Sandy does not trust humans (no wonder!). At this time, she will avoid any contact with you. However, when she IS picked up, she becomes calm and submissive. I have groomed her several times and she is compliant on the grooming table. The vet staff reports she is the same during handling for exams/procedures. Sandy has NEVER OFFERED TO BITE -- EVER!<br/><br/>Sandy is EXCELLENT with other dogs; LOVES to go outside and will use potty pads inside. She is too timid for companionship with children, so an adult home only, please.
