Meet Sandy!<br/> Sandy is a social butterfly! She loves everyone and is super playful and as sweet as can be. Good with dogs and cats! Due to her fun and happy demeanor, we feel she'd be great with kids. She loves chasing balls and getting belly rubs...I mean, who doesn't? :D<br/><br/>Sandy and her partner Danny were found in horrible condition in early March. Both covered with Mange, eye infections, skin infections, and anemic, just to name a few. <br/><br/>We gathered our forces (our awesome volunteers) and got to work. Medicated baths 2-3x a week, a slew of meds to be given throughout the day, countless hours of showing them that life isn't so bad or scary. Carrying them everywhere because they wouldn't walk on a leash... and now, they've made a total 180 transformation!<br/><br/>Sandy is a sweet, affectionate lovebug. Her wiggle butt is just the cutest thing and brightens your day. Endless days of kisses and true love. She's had such a rough start to life and has made such a big difference. <br/><br/>New places can be scary to Sandy at first but with patience and re-assurance, she warms up and adapts with no issues. She was in a temporary foster home while recovering from her spay surgery where she loved on their other dogs and cats! She didn't make a mess in the house and waited to be walked to use the bathroom. <br/><br/>We feel both Danny and Sandy were kept outside for either all or the majority of their lives. They're looking for someone with patience and lots of love to give them. <br/><br/>She is a Pitty mix, weighing 46 lbs and only est 9 months old.
