Sandy's Story

Sandy has been adopted!
We are posting Sandy as a courtesy to help her current owner, Mike. This beautiful girl is in need of a new home due to issues in her current home with the resident Chihuahua over food aggression. Mike tells us that Sandy lived with a German Shepherd and did well, and she enjoys going to the dog park, and she is normally fine with other dogs.
Mike’s description of his dog is the following: Sandy is a 4 year old, mixed breed dog (looks like a Lab mix), who is current on her shots and spayed. She is okay in a vehicle - just likes to sniff out the window. She sleeps in my bed or on the couch. She isn't alone very much, but when she is left alone she behaves fine. She gets along with our cats and most bigger dogs. She is great with children as well. The only command Sandy knows is to come when we call her. She is terribly afraid of thunder and fireworks. She has run away from those noises. Sandy appears to have some seasonal skin allergies. But the veterinarian prescribed special food which seems to help, Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Hydrolyzed Protein. Sandy is a great girl, but she has become aggressive with our older Chihuahua, but to be fair the Chihuahua is very old and is more food aggressive than the other dogs. Sandy’s adoption fee is $150.
Mike lives with Sandy in Spooner, Wisconsin, and his number is 715-808-2336 and email is fleckmike6@gmail.com
Please contact Mike directly to find out more about Sandy and to potentially adopt. If you have any problems feel free to contact us as well, but Sandy is not part of RTAS, and she is listed only as courtesy post for her current owner, Mike.
