Sandy's Story

Petfinder Profiles doesn't always work.

Sandy
Female
15 Weeks Old
Lowville, NY

Looking for the cutest spicy teddy bear youve ever seen? Sandy is it! Sandy has been through some things in the short life shes lived so far. Not to worry though, she doesnt let that stop her from being the life of the party!

Sandy appears to be mixed with something fairly small as she currently weighs about 15 lbs. Sandy is goofy, spunky, playful and loves to get the zoomies and run, run, run! She loves to play and wrestle with her sister and she loves to chew on bones and toys.

Sandy has been catching onto potty training really quickly, but she still will require consistent continued training. Sandy is clean in her crate, goes potty outside, and sleeps through the night!

Sandy is looking for an active home that will continue her training. She will need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation to ensure she can be on her best behavior! She does like to have a good couch snuggle with some belly rubs (She may do questionable things for a good belly rub!), but she will jump up to play instantly if thats an option! Sandy is more food than toy motivated, but still loves to play with toys too!

Sandy is more reserved, she is friendly, but she can be shy. She has been as gentle as 15 week old puppy can be with kids, but she does still bite and jump. She does consistently look to her sister for confidence, so another confident friendly pup for her to learn from and look up to would benefit her! Sandy will chase anything that moves, so I do not believe a home with cats would be a good fit for her.

Sandy does have a significant overbite that may require additional dental care in the future. It does not affect her ability to eat or function at this time, and it truly fits her goofy personality!

Sandy will be adopted on a spay contract.
