Sandy (26-033 D)'s Story

My name is Sandy and I am super excited to not be stuck in an abandoned house in Flint with my babies anymore!!! I came from a situation with a lot of other dogs and cats of different sizes and ages, so I can get along good with others well. I am working on boosting my confidence, because I can be very timid in new situations. I like new people, but sometimes it takes me a few minutes to warm up. I weigh about 50 lbs but am trying to gain a little more!

I really like my foster mom and dad - they treat me so well, and make me feel safe. They are giving me lots of new experiences, which I am doing pretty well with. At first I didn't like to get my feet wet at the beach, but I tried it again after a long walk and it was very refreshing. I'm 100% housebroken and crate trained. I live with cats that won't let me get too close. I go on long walks everyday and have even running a few miles with my mom (then take a very long nap) so will make someone a great jogging partner! I love my toys and treats. I know a few basic commands (working on more), and I answer to my name. I am ready to go to my new furever home!.
