Did I mention GORGEOUS?<br/><br/>Meet Samuel, our tiny Chihuahua heartthrob who came to Pattie's Waggin' Tails after his beloved owner had to move into assisted living. Samuel originally came to the United States from Mexico as a puppy, and after spending nearly his entire life with his person, he suddenly found himself needing somewhere new to call home.<br/><br/>Samuel is about 10 years old and a tiny little guy. His previous veterinary records have him right around 9 to 10 pounds, so basically ten pounds of Chihuahua packed with an impressive amount of personality. <br/><br/>Is he spicy? Absolutely. His records actually confirm that this isn't something he invented after arriving here. His previous veterinarian noted that Samuel could be aggressive for exams and sometimes needed to be muzzled. <br/><br/>Is he loving? Absolutely.<br/><br/>Samuel is one of those dogs who needs someone who speaks fluent Chihuahua. Someone who understands that a little growl doesn't necessarily mean the relationship is over, personal space is sometimes sacred, and when Samuel decides you're one of his people, you've earned something pretty special.<br/><br/>He's settling into sanctuary life, showing us his sweet side and making it increasingly difficult to imagine letting this gorgeous little man go. Still, we know there may be someone out there who takes one look at that face and says, "Yep. I speak Chihuahua."<br/><br/>If that's you, Samuel just might be your guy.<br/><br/>Although fair warning... we're already a little obsessed with him.
