Samson *Bonded to Delilah*'s Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.<br/>Sam and Lilah are both incredibly sweet and love to cuddle. They are content lounging at home and were originally pretty uneasy about the outdoors, in general. They seemed nervous and unsure about dirt, mud, grass, car noises, sounds from neighborhood animals, etc. but have come a long way. Now their little tails wag when they see me grab their leashes. They don’t bark excessively, but Sam will let you know when he’s uncomfortable with someone outside, in your house, or on a walk and may bark briefly. Both dogs are good with my toddler. They don’t seek play with him, but they are fine being near his loud noises and chaos. Both dogs are VERY interested in my cats and it does occasionally become a chase. They could live happily with cats as long as the cats in the house have a space of their own to run to when their excitement and strength is a bit too much. They need slow introductions to new dogs and can be grumbly, but once they got used to them, they’ve all gotten along. Occasionally, Delilah has gotten protective of her food (but in her defense, Sam and my lab Guinness try to steal directly from her bowl because she’s a slower eater). Overall, they’re very easy going and perfect boxers and an adorable, very bonded pair.
