Sampson's Story

Introducing Sampson

Sampson is a handsome 14-year old Cocker mix who is affectionate, playful and full of personality. Don’t let that sugar face or his age fool you, he’s one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. He loves to play and will walk as many times as you want to go.

Sampson likes children and other dogs. He will chase a cat, but it’s his way of playing (if the cat is OK with that). He likes to play and sleep with his soft toys, but he will eventually destroy them. He likes The Big Bed or a dog bed, or he’ll sleep on the floor. He’s an early riser but will come back in for one of many naps. Everything is Sampson’s favorite food! He will eat any food left over in other dog bowls.

As far as grooming goes, Sampson is a good boy. He will require medication and consistent veterinary support to maintain good health and to keep his constantly wagging tail in motion.

Sampson deserves to be part of a loving family in a forever home. He would do well with an active family who embraces his playful energy and happy personality.

If you would like to meet Sampson, please complete our adoption/foster application (they’re the same) and put his name at the top. Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/

If you are already an approved adopter or foster, please contact us at dfwcsr.adoptions@gmail.com.
