Sampson

This handsome boy is looking for his forever home and a human partner to continue guiding him on his journey to being the best pup he can be. Samson absolutely loves other dogs of all shapes and sizes! When he is off-leash, he is a social butterfly. On his walks, however, the world can feel a bit overwhelming for him. He experiences some leash reactivity—especially when he spots dogs behind fences, sees other pups passing by, or encounters fast-moving things like electric bikes and skateboards. He can also occasionally be selective or reactive around certain people.
The great news is that Samson is already making wonderful progress! He has been working hard on his leash manners, and his training is paying off as his reactivity is consistently improving. Samson thrives with structure, positive reinforcement, and a patient handler who can help him navigate his triggers and keep his focus. If you are looking for a loving, dog-friendly companion and enjoy the rewarding process of training and bonding with a smart pup, Samson might just be your perfect match.
Please complete our application (1luckydogrescue.org) if you are interested in adopting Sampson.
