Sampson is really smart and a wonderfully affectionate and well behaved dog and being blind will stun you when you watch his behavior and see just how clever he is. He is a fascinating study. Too incredible to even write here as there is so much to tell. He may have been a hunting dog in his youth as he was not neutered and has an amazing nose to go with his hound dog howl. He has excellent hearing, loves the car, dogs who are nice to him and cats. He is housetrained and just a fascinating study in very cool special needs dog behavior.
