Sammy's Story

Sammy is a wonderful young dog with a lot of love to give. He is loyal, protective, and affectionate, and he loves to show his gentle side. Sammy is independent and knows how to entertain himself, but also loves human company. He is friendly and gets along with everyone, whether they are humans or other dogs but we are unsure of cats. Sammy would make a great addition to any family and he is waiting for the right person to come and take him home. If you are interested in meeting Sammy, please come let us know!

He is up to date on vaccines, micro chipped, nurtured, house trained, and crate trained.

Fostering Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
A potential adopter sees one of our animals on your website and inquires about an animal. 1) The inquiry is viewed by the person checking emails. If there are questions raised about the inquiry an email will be sent to the potential adopter. For example, if it says that the person is looking for a small dog and the inquiry is in regard to a 50 pound dog, we would email the person asking if they were still interested in the dog with the knowledge that the dog is bigger than what they said they wanted. 2) If there are not any questions about the inquiry, the inquiry is sent to the person fostering the animal and the foster responds to the person. 3) The potential adopter is asked to fill out an application 4) The foster checks the application to see if it sounds like a good fit for the animal 5) If the application seems like a good fit, the references are contacted and a home visit may be required. 6) If the references are good, the foster will set up a meet and greet (if adopting a dog, any current dog the potential adopter has must meet the foster dog). 6) If the meet and greet goes well the animal can be adopted.
