Sammy may be 12 years young, but his zest for life is stronger than ever! This fluffy little gentleman has truly blossomed in his AWLFC foster home. Sammy came to us after his beloved owner sadly had to move into a memory care facility, and he’s now ready to bring his big heart and happy spirit to a new forever family.<br/><br/>Sammy loves:<br/>? Listening to music (Fleetwood Mac’s “Sara” is his favorite)<br/>? Socializing with visitors<br/>? Howling along with fire trucks and ambulances — his own little siren song!<br/>?? Sunbathing by the open front door and catching warm rays on his belly<br/><br/>One of Sammy’s favorite activities is going for a ride in his wagon, taking in the neighborhood sights like the happy, curious boy he is. He’s a loyal little shadow, following his foster mom from room to room and curling up by her office chair during the workday.<br/><br/>Each morning, Sammy looks forward to his “good morning” hugs and kisses — and yes, he gives kisses right back when you ask. His huge, warm brown eyes will melt your heart in seconds.<br/><br/>Sammy is in overall good health, but does need to lose a few pounds, which he is reluctantly working on! Sammy has lived with other dogs and does well. It is unknown if he has been around cats. We would not recommend Sammy for a home with young children.<br/><br/>Sammy would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a calm, loving, and engaging friend.
