Yes

Sammy is a lovable, well-mannered boy who thrives on companionship and would love a home where someone is around most of the day. He enjoys being with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and absolutely loves people--including children! While he does well with other dogs, he benefits from slow, proper introductions to new canine friends.
Sammy is fully house-trained and crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash (he prefers using a harness), rides well in the car, and isn't bothered by thunderstorms, rain, or the vacuum. At 33 pounds, he's the perfect medium-sized companion.
Sammy does have some food-guarding tendencies with other dogs, so special treats or bones should be given separately. He is comfortable with people handling his food or treats, but he prefers that other dogs respect his space during mealtime. Because of this, he'll do best with a dog-savvy owner who understands canine body language and can help set him up for success.
Overall, Sammy is a very good boy with a sweet personality who is looking for a patient, attentive family to give him the love and security he deserves.
