Sammy is a sweet, shy 9 year old hound mix. This older girl is looking for a calm, laid back home where she can relax in her golden years. Small, rowdy children stress her out - she would be best in a calm household with no kids or older children with calm demeanors. She doesn't like to share with other dogs and would do best as the one and only spoiled fur child in the home. She would make a great companion for someone older looking for a calm dog to keep them company in a calm, quiet household. <br/><br/>Adoption fee: $150 (Discounted to $50 for senior adopters!) Sammy is spayed, current on vaccines and comes with 30 days of pet insurance and her first bath and nail trim on us.

Happy Trails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

An adoption application is required, as well as an in-person meet and greet with the dog. We DO NOT ship dogs out of the area, we are located in Central Florida and all adoptions must occur in person. Adoption requirements vary on a dog to dog basis, our goal is to find a dog that is the right fit for you - and a home that is a great match for the dog. We keep our adoption fees as low as possible, but adoption fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We are honest and upfront about everything we know about the animal you are adopting, and expect you to put serious thought into the commitment of adoption before moving forward and be committed to the dog life-long.
