Blondes have more fun! Sammy doesn't realize he's a senior. He has a fun mix of puppy-like energy when it's time to play with toys but then calms down beautifully for lap snuggles. If you have a lap for him to sit on, you'll be his bff. In cold weather he loves a good sweater or jacket, or again to be in your lap. <br/>Sammy came to us with a few other dogs from the same household (one of which Riley also adoptable). When we first met him, he was scared, but wow did he blossom in the months we've gotten to know and care for him. He came to us late summer and we immediately got his medical care updated. He's about 10lbs, and 10-11 years old, fully vaccinated, had a full dental cleaning and a mass removed from near his anus. Fully excised and curative. He's not a fan of cats but gets along GREAT with other dogs. Sammy has been an absolute pleasure for us caretakers and volunteers to care for. He eats great and loooooves getting treats for being a good boy. He's on no medications and a healthy, happy guy.
