Meet Sammy! <br/><br/>Sammy came to our rescue all the way from Louisiana back in 2023. No, he hasn't been with us that long! He was actually adopted not long after we saved him, and sadly he was just returned to us due to the kids in the home being too nervous around dogs. Sammy is a cattle dog mix and is an energetic boy, who can also be mouthy which isn't ideal for small kids. <br/><br/>Sammy is as close to perfect as can be! He is incredibly smart and well behaved. He is completely crate, potty, and leash trained and is not destructive in the home at all. He loves his toys, walks, and play time, but also enjoys snuggles and down time. He would thrive in a home where he can have a balance of daily exercise, snuggles, and play time.
