What is a sweet dog like this doing in a shelter?? Sammie came to us as a stray who was seen clipped by a car, but luckily suffered no injuries. Since that time we have found him to be a very sweet boy, friendly with everyone and excited to meet new friends, though he does calm down quickly. The staff at a local vet hospital where he was being fostered fell in love with this guy, saying he was super easy to handle, got along great with other dogs and kids, and was even non-reactive to cats! Sammie is also housebroken and the perfect mix of ready to go and chill on the sofa. Come say hello to Sammie, your new best friend!
