Samir is a 8.5 yr old prima donna Chinese Crested (as if there were another type!!) looking for his adoptive person. All this guy wants in the whole world is his very own human. And he never lets you forget it!!!! Samir is a SERIOUS people dog, which means he will need someone who works from home or is retire, he doesn't do well alone. Chinese Crested are known for their intense bonding with their person and he does not disappoint. He loves his humans deeply and will absolutely put himself between you and the tv if needed!!! He also never lets you forget that he says when and where his picture will be taken. Or what dishes you should use for the evening dinner. Or If you overcooked your egg...and that you did not share your overcooked egg. Basically, we should have named Samir, "Opinion", instead because he has plenty of them and while he cannot speak with words....he has sassy tween girl body language and eye rolls.<br/><br/>He does fine with the other dogs in his foster home....he just doesn't like it if they have fun, or squeak the toys longer then he deems appropriate, or seek his humans attention while he too, is seeking attention. So if we are being totally honest, he would much rather be an ONLY dog than also have to make the rules for the humans and the dogs. Cause that's exhausting and if his bed isn't round enough....well then he simply hasn't slept his best and is already tired to begin with. Sigh.<br/>He is however, the most absolutely loving, kiss giving, snuggle in the bed with ya, kind of guy!!<br/><br/>Samir does has a 3/6 systolic heart murmur (typical for Crested to have heart murmurs) that required an echo so that we would know what was going on and while he is at he beginning stage of B1 mitral valve disease (common for the breed) he requires no meds or treatment at all at this time. His blood pressure is great and he will need an echo repeated each year to monitor the progression of the mitral valve disease <br/><br/> Samir is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you wish to make to help cover our medical costs.
