HELLO WORLD! My name is Sami Jo and I am a well rounded, TOTAL package! Just ask my foster...she will tell you that I am one smart cookie who has already mastered leash manners, crate training and my potty business outside! I have been staying in a home with multiple dogs and kids, and I ADORE them both. But let's talk about cats...I think they are fun but they don't enjoy my rough style of play, so a kitty-free home is best for me. Looking for a sweet, playful pup who is ready to greet you at the door with a happy heart and a wagging tail? THAT IS ME! I am ready to make someone's home complete! Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
