Sami's Story
Sami was born in the middle of August 2025 and she weighs approximately 30 pounds.<br/><br/>She likes slow introductions to new dogs and is very good with her fosters female dog! <br/><br/>She is good with kids but will need supervision as she is still a puppy and nips when she’s over excited.<br/><br/>She is housetrained and will sit politely at the door when she needs or wants to go outside <br/><br/>Sami is good in her crate at bedtime and when her fosters go out. <br/>She likes a bone to chew in her crate during the day. She still needs something to keep her busy so she doesn't chew anything else- like puppies do!<br/><br/>Sami knows her name & comes when called - if she wants to. <br/>Also knows sit, wait, stay, gentle (to take treats)<br/>She does needs more training but she is a very independent puppy!<br/><br/>She came into care with breaks & injuries on her left leg. They are all healed up well now. <br/><br/>She isn’t a fan of car or any vehicle. <br/> She gets very nervous and car sick <br/>She does a bit better inside a crate with a comfortable blanket to lay down during the car rides. <br/><br/>Sami is smart & learns quickly, plus she is treat motivated! <br/>She can be vocal & bark/sings- sometimes dramatically!<br/>She loves to play, gets the zoomies hard and then crashes. <br/>She is very sassy & loves to play "Chase me", Tug of War and Catch.<br/>She plays well by herself and does best with toys with no stuffing.<br/>She loves go for walks; her leash walks & manners needs some work as she gets excited and can pull.<br/> <br/>Sami will need a home with a fully fenced yard, Will escape if opportunity presents thru any gap to slide thru or under and she loves to dig.<br/><br/>Sami can not wait to find her forever home!
