Sambo's Story

Sambo was adopted to a wonderful family but unfortunately after a year of trying everything he came back to RUFF due to his two legged best friend's unrelenting allergies. Sambo is a 1.5 year old happy to love you pup. He is completely housebroken, sleeps until you are ready to get up in the morning, doesn't meet a stranger (two or four legged) and overall bullet proof pup. He isn't a big fan of a crate but he is good left out alone. He has met numerous fosters and lives with dogs from 12lbs to 98lbs in perfect harmony. If you are looking for a best friend and even better couch cuddler --- look no further!

Adopters look at our website for available animals. They reach out to the shelter, we send a survey and they return it. We look it over, make an appointment for a meet n greet with the animal. If the meet n greet goes well, the family may adopt the pet for an adoption fee.
