Samarra's Story
Thank you for viewing our listing here on Petfinder! Friends of the Ohio County Animal Shelter (FOTS) is a non profit organization. Our animal shelter has a high euthanization rate and FOTS was created to help decrease the euthanization and find loving and caring homes for homeless dogs. We only accept dogs from our community animal shelter. Once they are in our facility they are bathed, dewormed, given 5-way vaccine, and monthly flea, tick and lice treatment is applied. We are able to provide basic medical care for these animals through donations.

Our adoption fee is $100 this covers the dogs healthcare while in our care. Should an adopter live out of state or would like for their own vet to spay or neuter there will a $20 deduction from the the adoption fee. This will need to be determined at the time of the adoption. There will be no refunds after the adoption has been made.

Our facility operates on donations and volunteers. We have no paid employee's and have no set hours. Dogs are shown by appointment only.
