He loves his humans; he follows his foster family from room to room, even sleeping on a mat in their bedroom. Sam hasn't spent time in a kennel in his foster home because they don’t have one that fits him. You see, Sam is quite overweight. He is now on a weight management program that includes low calorie dog food and several walks per day. Sam loves these walks and is excellent on a leash. He would love more treats but that isn’t currently in the program. He came to rescue weighing 138 pounds, and he's already making progress toward a healthy weight. His family should be committed to continuing his healthy lifestyle changes.<br/>Sam lives with three other dogs in his foster home. Sam is the dog that will stand back and not<br/>push an issue.
