SAM (cc#7160)'s Story
WONDERFUL NEWS!! SAM (aka Such-A-Mess) HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

Such-A-Mess was found as a stray. No one knew anything about him, and no one was looking for him. He did have a microchip, but unfortunately it was a dead-end. Apparently the owner never registered the chip, and the only information available was that the dog was a Mini-Goldendoodle. Such-A-Mess was a real sweetheart, and off to the vet he went. Oh my, oh my. They never saw anything like it. Shaving and grooming took hours. You can just imagine! He was bathed and shaved, and shaved and bathed..... And look at what they found under all that matting! - Our handsome SAM. (We can't call him Such-A-Mess anymore.)

The vet estimates SAM is almost 3 years old (2 years, 8 months is what they wrote down), and he weighed in at just under 20 lbs. His Heartworm/Lyme tests were negative, and his tests for parasites (fecal test and giardia test) were also negative. He was given his Distemper, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations; and he was neutered. Just to make sure he didn't have any fleas that may have hitched a ride in all that fur, Bravecto was applied.

Everyone at the vet's office fell in love, and said what a sweetheart he was. ....And, as a plus, they said he held his business while in his assigned cage, and waited until he was taken outside.... so we're thinking SAM is housebroken.

We couldn't agree more. SAM is something special. After going through all he went through he stayed a sweet, friendly, loving dog. Now we need to find him a new home to love and take good care of him.

WONDERFUL NEWS!! SAM (aka Such-A-Mess) HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

............
