Meet Sam
?My name is Sam and I'm a Lab mix born in March 2023. I was transferred from another animal shelter that was running out of space and time for me. I am a medium to large boy that has spent my whole life in the shelter system and currently in a foster home. Since arriving at my foster home I have learned how to play with other dogs, am potty trained, know some basic commands, and love watching movies with my foster family. I am shy/unsure of new men so I might need a little extra time to warm up to them. I was born with the cards stacked against me medically so I do require daily medication for my heart and congenital lymphedema in my legs. With the help of my foster family and staff, they were able to get me the medical care I needed that also included me having to have hip surgery. I have been neutered, vaccinated including rabies, wormed, negative for heartworms, and microchipped for my new family.
