I am very shy at first, but I love playing with other dogs. I am respectful and I wouldn't hurt a cat or any other small animal.<br/>Leash/Crate/House Trained: I am good on leash, just shy of new people so I will stay close to your legs. I crate very well. My crate is my safe place. I have now learned to live inside a home without issue.<br/>City Noises/Traffic/Meeting Strangers: I may startle or be nervous of noises. I'm not the bravest fella, and may take time to warm up to new people. I wouldn't hurt anyone, I submit and don't mind to be petted even if I don't know you. If I'm loose, and meeting new people, I will typically just keep my distance until I feel comfortable. <br/>Vacc/Worming/Flea/Microchip: Yes, I am up to date, fully vetted and microchipped.<br/><br/>Hello, I am Salty. But really, I AM SWEET!!!<br/>I was born in the Bahamas. Living on the streets is not such a great life for any dog. I am so lucky to have come to Canada in search of my Fur Ever family. <br/>I am a very shy guy, but I am a licker. So when I warm up to you, be prepared for some wet, but gentle puppy kisses ?. I am still young and playful. I like to chew, run and play, and I like to dip my feet in water too. I absolutely love to play with other dogs. I'm respectful, and smart. I crate well, and so far, house training has been no problem for me. I'm looking for a family that is kind and patient, but active.I have medium energy and would enjoy daily hikes and activities. A family that can help me gain some confidence, and give me a loving home to feel safe would be great. I love to go for walks, or crash on the couch. I love being with my people. I am not a big social butterfly, but I have been to busy markets, and met lots of strangers. I am timid, but I tolerated it.
