This beautiful German Shepherd has a quiet, calm spirit and the softest, most soulful eyes that seem to carry a lifetime of stories. One gaze from her and you'll know-she's something special. Sal is gentle, affectionate, and easy to be around. She walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys spending her time outside, peacefully exploring and sniffing the breeze like it's her favorite book. She's beginning to discover the joy of toys and has recently started to romp and play, showing glimpses of a more carefree side as her confidence grows. Though she may be soft-spoken, her presence is strong and reassuring. Sal is ready for a calm and loving home where she can continue to bloom at her own pace, surrounded by kindness, patience, and the simple joys of companionship. National Mill Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest! If you have not already done so, please submit the adoption application found at this link: https://nmdr.org/our-dogs/adopt/ if you have already submitted an application- Within 72 hours of receipt of your application, an Adoptions Team member will respond to you via EMAIL with instructions on next steps in the application process. Be sure to check your junk or spam email as well. Please note that it is best to not have a particular dog in mind as he or she could get adopted before you are approved to adopt. Your application is valid for 11 months and we are always rescuing dogs. Once you are approved to adopt, you will be able to set up the meet and greet and you will also bring your dog or dogs with you. If you are looking to adopt from outside of Colorado, you do need to follow the above process, and if approved to adopt, you will need to travel to Colorado to meet and pick up your next family member. We do not allow shipping or transportation.
