She’s also known as Sally🐾💙 Weighing in at 38 pounds, she’s the perfect medium size—athletic, sturdy, and built to move! She’s also a sweet, loving, and loyal companion who adores her people and thrives on attention and affection.

True to her breed, Salome’s smart, alert, and happiest when she has something to do. Several months back, she had a litter of puppies and had been a wonderful, attentive mama. She is now spayed and ready to start her next chapter.

Salome is one of those versatile dogs. At her previous foster home, she enjoyed helping with moving the goats along. She has some herding instincts and would do best in an active home, whether that’s on a farm, ranch, or with an active family committed to giving her exercise and mental stimulation. That being said, Salome does have an “off button” and is content to lay beside you while you’re working on the computer or watching TV.

Salome’s affectionate, loyal, eager to please, and ready to be someone’s sidekick and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a smart, active, and loving Blue Heeler to add to your family, she could be the perfect fit!

Salome has been with her new foster for a few weeks now and we’re told that she’s a great traveling companion, rides quietly in the car and curls up in the seat next to you. Salome is quiet in the crate, walks well on the leash and has great recall. She is a little intimidated with new dogs in her face but is learning that they mean no harm. Salome has done well with the dogs in her foster home and now plays vigorously with the others. She has been exposed to cats and has shown no reactivity towards them.

Salome is currently fostered in Nevada County. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm, microchipped and on Simparico Trio for flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

If you are interested in meeting Salome click the following link. https://form.jotform.com/221116924195050.
