Sally's Story

Sally is the most adorable terrier mix that you will ever see! At two years old she is fully grown and weighs 40 lbs. Sally is good with adults and older teenagers, but she has not been introduced to cats. Sally can be cautious when initially meeting people. Sometimes, men need a slower introduction. But with proper handling, clear communication, and some patience. Sally can make a fantastic companion. She is everything you could want in a dog – sweet, loyal, affectionate, and eager to please her forever person. She is house trained, and crate trained. Leash training skills are a work in progress, but Sally is working hard to master them. Consistency and positive reinforcement training will help to further develop her skills and build her confidence. Then the sky is the limit! Sally would do best in a structured, predictable, home environment. Getting daily physical and mental stimulation will ensure that Sally becomes the perfect companion. She would also benefit from further opportunities for socialization with people and dogs. The adoption fee for Sally is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder. 12/21/25 8:28 AM
