Sally's Story

Meet Sally — A Precious Soul Ready for Her Next Chapter Yesterday, we took in three Labradors that were surrendered to a governmentrun shelter that was already full. Their owner had passed away, and in the heartbreak that followed, the dogs were brought in with nowhere else to go. We stepped in immediately. One of them is Sally, an 7-8 year old yellow Labrador. What we know for certain is that she is pure love wrapped in gentleness. Now settling into her foster home after one day, Sally has been nothing short of wonderful. She is housebroken, calm, and incredibly affectionate. She gives soft kisses, enjoys being close, and has already found her favorite spot on the couch. She walks beautifully on leash and happily greeted everyone she met, people and dogs alike, with an easy tail wag and a warm, welcoming spirit. Sally seems to know sit, and while she may not know many formal commands, she carries herself with that wise, steady Lab temperament that makes life simple and sweet. She enjoys going on walks, and after a good one, she settles right into a relaxed, peaceful rhythm. She is great with other dogs, gentle in every interaction, and truly loves everyone she encounters. Sally is a cuddlebug, a comfortseeker, and a hearthealer, the kind of dog who simply wants to be near her people and feel safe again. After losing her person and her home, she deserves a family who will give her the softness, stability, and love she has always given so freely. Sally is a precious soul. Someone is going to be very lucky to call her theirs. Sally is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.
