Sally's Story

Sweet Sally!

Sally is a sweet and affectionate English Pointer mix. She is approximately 1 and a half years old, and is already spayed! She is a bit shy with strangers, but once she feels comfortable she is the type of girl who checks all the boxes and steals your heart!
Sally is kennel trained, housetrained, and knows how to sit - she is one smart cookie and eager to please. True to her gentle nature, Sally loves being close to her people and happily claims her spot as a lap dog whenever she can. She has been around other dogs and children and has done wonderfully with both, showing a friendly, easygoing personality. She has yet been tested with cats and we do recommend a meet and greet prior to adoption.

Sally's story suggests she may have been a gun- shy girl who wandered away from her previous home. She was found wandering, covered in ticks and far too skinny. Some kind souls took her in and nursed her back to health, hoping that an owner was out there searching for her. Sadly, no one ever came forward to claim sadly, and her finders could not keep her forever. Through it all, though, Sally has remained trusting, loving, and full of affection.

Sally is ready for her forever loving family - one that will cherish her loyalty, cuddle her often, and never let her wander where she could lost again! Sally is up to date on all her vaccinations and is ready to find a forever home!
